Pagaliau! Labai džiaugiuosi pagaliau užbaigusi bent vieną iš pamirštų darbų (ta proga planuoju dar bent porą naujų pradėti, tik tiek, kad juos šiemet ir užbaigsiu - bus įdomu siuvinėti). Pradėjau aš jį 2012-ais (tais pačiais metais ir palikau laukti, kol vėl prisiminsiu jį). O šis pinigų nykštukas, bandantis aukso tikrumą, teisybę pasakius, man net nelabai reikalingas. Išsiuvinėjau, išlyginau, o dabar gulės greta kitų išsiuvinėtų darbų ir lauks, kol juo kas nors susižavės. Kol vietos nedaug užima, tegul guli. Mano galvoje jau mintys apie naujus darbus sukasi.

The very first of my old UFOs is done. This old man, counting his money and trying if it is real gold, is stitched. It took me nearly five years to stitch it. I started it in 2012, the same year it was left and was finished in two evenings. OK, these were quit long evenings. But still - only two evenings. Now it will lay in a box with other unframed works. I am not sure what was I thinking about, what was the reason to stitch it. Yes, it is nice, but I do not need it and I am not going to frame it or to use in some other way. But as long as it needs not so much space I'll keep it at home...
