Aš gyva, aš tikrai gyva ir niekur nedingusi, tik buvau labai labai užsiėmusi - ruošiau savo brolį į draugo vestuves. Tiesa, fotosesijai laiko neliko, ji dar bus. Bet gatvėje žmonės kaklus narinosi žvelgdami į štai tokį vaizdą:

O čia dar ir kampas to, kas slepiasi po apsiaustu (kelnės čia pilkos vilnonės, tikrai ne džinsai).

Pastaba: Aš ne rekonstruktorė, o brolis keliavo ne į rekonstruktoriaus vestuves, tad kostiumas - tik a la viduramžiškas. Iš pradžių buvo planuota, kad bus užsakyta, kad pasiūtų, o aš siuvinėsiu, bet vėliau brolis apsigalvojo - prisiminė, kad kažkada metų pradžioje siuvimo mašiną ir overloką nusipirkom... Tad nekalkit prie kryžiaus, kad čia kažkas labai neautentiška. Jeigu būčiau rekonstrukcinį kostiumą dariusi, tada ir rankomis būčiau siuvusi. O siuvinėti apsiaustą dar reikės - man jis per daug juodas. Reikės gal kokius Tolkien'o pieštus drakonus ant pečių užtupdyti... (o po to sau kiek trumpesnę ir spalvotesnę vilnonę peleriną pasisiūti; labai smagu tokį apsiaustą apsigobti, tik kad sunkokas jis).
Remark: I am not a reenactor and my brother was not going to some reenactor's marriage. So costume had to be only a la medieval. The first idea was that he finds a tailor and I only stitch. But later he remembered, that we have bought sewing machine and overlock... So please, do not crucify me if something is very untrue. If I were making reconstruction, I would have sewn everything only with my hands. As for me, his overcoat is too black... So I'll stitch something on it. Maybe some dragons, drawn by Tolkien... (and later I'll sew some woolen cape for myself, but only a little bit shorter and more colourful; I liked my brother's one, but it is a little bit too heavy to be used every day).
