Apačioje pridedu dar ir detalę to, kas išsiuvinėta. Ir ko aš tiek laiko bijojau? Juk čia tikrai nėra taip jau baisiai sudėtinga (na, gal kvadratai ir ne visi tikslūs, bet čia gi siuvinėjimas, o ne koks namo brėžinys)
Few years ago Beata and I have made Christmas gifts for ourselves. She has bought Hapsburg lace embroidery pattern, and I - jacobean embroidery kit. All this time I was looking at this kit and thinking, that it is soooo difficult. But yesterday I decided, that it is time to start. And... it wasn't so difficult. I liked this stitching very much. The kit is great, the design on the fabric very clear, instructions easy to follow... The author Tanja Berlin did a great work preparing it, I do not think, that I'll need some advice. There is only one little problem, that will slow my work: I am short of one shade of wool (there was over in the kit). I am sure, that I would get the one I need, if I write a letter. But I am not going to do that. Not all people work between Christmas and New Year. And it would take some time to get wool from Canada. I simply bought it in Italy and I've got affirmation (they are working today!). So I hope to have my thread soon. And I'll have enough of stitching while waiting.
Here is a detail of my work. Now I am thinking, what I was afraid of... It is not so difficult (maybe my quadrates aren't very perfect, but it is only stitching, not architectural plans).
