Jau net neprisimenu, kada paskutinį kartą siuvau skiautinius. Gal prieš kokius metus? Vokietijoje siūta lovatiesė laukia atostogų, kai namuose bus daugiau vietos ir galėsiu ją išsidėlioti ant grindų. Bet šią savaitę prisiminiau dar vieną, pradėtą Švedijoje, ir pasiuvau jai tris naujas detales. Viskas būtų su ja gerai, galima būtų ir į didesnį gabalą jungti, jeigu ne vienas "bet". Šias detales noriu sujungti šviesiai geltonu (ar gelsvai žalsvu) audiniu. Peržiūrėjau turbūt visas lietuviškas internetines parduotuves, prekiaujančias audiniais skiautiniams, užklydau į kelias Europoje... Deja, norimo audinio neradau. Dažniausiai pasitaikydavo ryškiai geltona. Tikėjausi, kad gal balkšvas audinys tiks. Deja, netiko. Tai ir laukiu kokios nors kelionės. Gal ten rasiu tinkamo audinio ir galėsiu susiuvinėti lovatiesę į vieną gabalą.
I haven't sewn any quilt for more than a year. The bed covering that I did in Germany is waiting summer (when some of family members will go for holidays and I'll have all the floor for myself). But I have one more bed covering that I started even earlier in Sweden. It was remembered this week and I made three more pieces for it. I would like to start making one big quilt only I have one very big problem: I need one more light yellow or light greenish yellow fabric to put in between these triangles. I searched for it in all possible shops (and e-shops) in Lithuania, I checked some in EU, but I was unable to find something suitable. All yellows looked too yellow. I also tried white, but it was too white. So now I am only sewing these triangles. Maybe one day I'll find suitable fabric (I miss my fabrics' shops in Germany so much :D ).
