Jau net nebežinau, ar čia susigėsti, ar tiesiog konstatuoti faktą, kad laiko sumažėjo. Jau net ir facebook'e nebespėju peržiūrėti rankdarbines naujienas. Bet reikia baigti rodyti pernai metų Vokietijos keliones (turint omeny, kad aš jau ir vėl Vokietijoje). Gruodžio pradžioje pasakojau apie miestą vidury niekur - Eschwege.O šiandien parodysiu, kodėl aš į jį važiavau (ir labai norėčiau šiemet dar kartą nuvažiuoti, tik kad čia tiek lankytinų vietų...).
Once more I am trying to return to my blog. Somehow I find less and less time for internet. I even stopped reading really interesting articles and links that I found once on facebook (I do not find time for it too). But maybe I should finish telling about my last year's visit to Germany and to the town in the middle of nowhere - Eschwege (my last post about it was last year). As I am once more in Germany, I would like to return to it once more, but there are so many places to see here that I am not sure if I'll find any possibility.

Kai kurie eksponatai buvo labai seni, kaip kad ši pagalvėlė, kurios centre matoma data 1821. Tradicinė karūna siuvinėta juodai. Kadangi siūlai išblukdavo, tapdavo rudi ar gelsvi, vėliau ir imta siuvinėti šiomis spalvomis.
Some of the works were really old, as this pillow with the date on it - 1821. Traditional crown was black. But after some time they changed their colour into brown or yellow and for this reason later they started embroidering crowns in brownish colours.

Arba ši juoda bliuzelė (beje, juodai vilkdavosi tik per Sekmines, kitu metu - mėlynai arba baltai).
Or this black blouse (women were wearing black only on the day of Pentecost, traditional colours all the year were blue or white).

Lovatiesės ant lovų buvo tiesiamos tik per šventes (ir kodėl manęs tai nestebina, tuo labiau, kad ir skalbimo mašinų anuomet neturėjo). Vienas jos galas visuomet buvo atlenkiamas. Ir jis visuomet buvo siuvinėjamas iš "blogosios" pusės, kad užtiesus lovatiesę ir atlenkus visas siuvinėjimas būtų "geras".
Bed covers were used only during feasts (I can easily understand this, they were so white). One corner was always turned back and it was stitched from "wrong" side that it would look nice on the bed.

Su pernykšte Vokietija jau baigta. Bet aš ir šiemet čia radau vertų dėmesio siuvinėjimų. Ir dar susirašiau kelias vietas, į kurias reikėtų nuvykti (į vieną miestą turbūt reikės porai dienų važiuoti, nes per daug ten lankytinų objektų...). Tad kelionių tęsinys kada nors bus.
This is the end of my last year's trip to Germany. But I found some embroidery this year too. And some more places are waiting for my visits. So one day there will be more stories and photos from Germany.
